About Our Steam Fair

Our District - Wide S.T.E.A.M. Fair is open to ALL Litchfield Elementary School District Students from Pre-K through 8th Grade. The purpose of our S.T.E.A.M. Fair is to provide a rich, interactive, educational experience for families and benefit each child’s learning through:


  • Reinforcing grade level science, literacy, math & technology skills
  • Fostering curiosity, awareness, and creativity
  • Increased scientific knowledge
  • Learning research techniques
  • Learning engineering techniques
  • Growth in ability to work independently
  • Sharing what they’ve learned with others
  • Feeling proud of their work
  • Having fun with science!
